Training Program Providers
During the Winter of 2007 - 2008, the WBSC will be offering
multiple programs to prepare both players and coaches ready for the
summer season. Teams and Players can participate in the WBSC Winter Training Program which includes both a foot skills session and a SPAT component (for speed, strength, and endurance) at Corner Kick Indoor Soccer in Maplewood. Starting in January, 2008, teams may choose to rent a field in the new Corner Kick field house for their team training. Or Birch Lake Gym time is also available at no charge. And finally for the coaches, training will be offered in two 6-week sessions beginning in January. There is no fee for the Coaches Winter Training 2007 Winter Training Programs will be run in 3 sessions of 6 weeks
each starting November 5, 2007. The first session will have 6
different class times (3 on Monday nights, 3 on Saturday mornings).
The second session begins in January, 2008; the third session
begins in February, 2008. Coaches or players may use the training form to register. If a player did not participate in the WBSC/MYSA fall travel program, the waiver form must be completed.
Starting in January, 2008, WBSC has rented 2 hours of the new
CornerKick field house on Tuesdays, 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Coaches and
teams may rent a quarter of the field for $90/hour; half the field for
$180/hour; or the whole field for $360/hour. Coaches form to reserve training time at the CKI fieldhouse. If a player did not participate in the WBSC/MYSA fall travel program, the waiver form must be completed.
Reserve time at Birch Lake Elementary using the online reservation form. Time is available on a first-come, first-served basis M-F, three 1-hour slots from 6 - 9 PM. There is no fee to reserve time. Click here for the reservation form
To
encourage teams and players to be active during the winter, White Bear
Soccer Club has approved an indoor league/training reimbursement for teams. A one
time reimbursement of $300 is available to teams playing in Indoor
leagues or doing Indoor training.
CornerKick Indoor Soccer offers a variety of services - leagues to play in, SPAT training, Fitness Training and field rental for your own team training.
