a. Athletic registration week starts August 10th in the North Campus office. Registration must be completed before a player can tryout. Registration has 4 parts; (click here for forms)

  Insurance Waiver,
   Physical within past 3 years,
   $138 fees.

b. Tryout information will be posted at www.wbsoccer.org.

c. Soccer informational meeting for players and parents is Wednesday August 12th at 6:30 pm in South Campus room 210.

d. Try-out Dates & Times: North Campus

e. Please avoid family vacations during tryout week.

f. High School registration is Tuesday August 18th. Please register at a time that does not conflict with tryouts. g. Fees will be returned if a player is not selected for a team.

8th Graders and HS Soccer

8th Graders are encouraged to tryout for high school soccer. We have had a number of 8th graders play on the 9th grade team for the past 3 seasons.  

If space is available after the first day then 8th graders may come out for 9th grade soccer. (updated August 10, 2009)

a. We are unlikely to select 8th graders for the team if we do not have enough roster spots for all 9th graders. That is, 9th graders have priority. Roster spots for 8th graders are available most years.

b. 8th graders are responsible for travel arrangements from middle school to North Campus. c. High school league rules do not allow players to play both high school soccer and MYSA fall U14 soccer.

Workout Program

It is your responsibility to be in top physical shape at the start of tryouts. The following links describe a suggested summer workout program. This program can augment your summer soccer club training. In general, you should be training 5 days per week. Each section of the program can be completed 2 to 3 times per week.

·         Tryouts for all 9^th – 12^th student athletes will start Monday, August 17^th.  

·         10th – 12^th Grade tryouts are August 17^th –22^nd.  The players will attend both a morning (8:00 – 10:00am) and an afternoon session (3:00 – 5:00pm).

·         Freshman tryout dates are August 17th, 18th, 19th. The players will attend a two hour session 10:00 – 12:00. 

·         All tryouts will be held at South Campus
