Training Program Providers
During the Winter of 2007 - 2008, the WBSC will be offering
multiple programs to prepare both players and coaches ready for the
summer season. Teams and Players can participate in the WBSC Winter Training Program which includes both a foot skills session and a SPAT component (for speed, strength, and endurance) at Corner Kick Indoor Soccer in Maplewood. Starting in January, 2008, teams may choose to rent a gym at Century College for their team training. Or Birch Lake Gym time is also available at no charge. And finally for the coaches, training will be offered in two 6-week sessions beginning in January. There is no fee for the Coaches Winter Training 2007 Winter Training Programs will be run in 3 sessions of 6 weeks
each starting November 5, 2007. The first session will have 6
different class times (3 on Monday nights, 3 on Saturday mornings).
The second session begins in January, 2008; the third session
begins in February, 2008. Coaches or players may use the training form to register. If a player did not participate in the WBSC/MYSA fall travel program, the waiver form must be completed.

Update - Feb 12 - Birch Lake is full - Jeff Filipek, WBSC VP is checking if there is any time available elsewhere. If interested, please register and be put on an "wait list" Reserve time at Birch Lake Elementary using the online reservation form. Time is available on a first-come, first-served basis M-F, three 1-hour slots from 6 - 9 PM. There is no fee to reserve time. Click here for the reservation form
To
encourage teams and players to be active during the winter, White Bear
Soccer Club has approved an indoor league/training reimbursement for teams. A one
time reimbursement of $300 is available to teams playing in Indoor
leagues or doing Indoor training.

another exciting new soccer event, The Pegasus Little Bears
Academy!
Session 1:
Fridays, January 4th-February 8th, Select either the 6:00-7:00 class
or the 7:00-8:00 class.
Note : This session is closed
Session 2:
Fridays, February 15th-March 28th, (note-no class on March 21 due to
Spring Break) Select either the 6:00-7:00 class or the 7:00-8:00
class.
All classes held at the Birch
Lake Elementary School gymnasium.

You will may be asked for the $10 fee and you will need to sign a
liability waiver on the first night of the Academy.
It's super easy and super fun. Act quickly as space is limited.
The November-December session filled quickly...like as in a matter
of days...Beware!
