The White Bear Soccer Club Annual General Meeting is held in April at the scheduled meeting date.  At the March Meeting, candidates are nominated for the positions that are up for election.  At the April Meeting, the only Nominations allowed from the floor are for offices that do NOT have candidates from the March Meeting, so it is important that if you are interested in running for an office - that you participate in the March Nomination meeting or contact us at wbsoccer@wbsoccer.org to indicate that you are interested in a position prior to the March meeting.

 

 
Who Can Vote:  
 

1. If you have a Summer or Fall registered WBSC Youth (U5 - U19) player, your family is entitled to one vote/ballot. 

2. If you are a volunteer coach, manager of a team, or a current officer of the club, you are entitled to a vote/ballot.  

3. A single individual, regardless of how many offices or positions they hold, can only vote once

ARTICLE III – Administration 

Section 3 – Administrators 

The Administrators of the Club will serve two-year terms.  Their positions and responsibilities are as follows: 

E.     Tryout Coordinator
·
      Schedule, coordinate, and oversee tryouts for traveling and competitive teams.
·
      Assemble a staff of player evaluators whose role is to evaluate players and determine player rank and appropriate playing level (Premier, C-1, C-2, C-3, etc.)  for all competitive and traveling players, age U11 and above,   for the club.
·
      Serve as an expert in the Club’s tryout and play-up policies.
·
      Serve as initial contact if there is a disputed team formation issue.
·
      Maintains copies of tryout documentation for each age level. 
 
Section 4 – Age Level Directors
 
Players, coaches and parents at each age level and gender shall be represented by an Age-Level Director elected to one year terms.  The responsibilities of the age level directors is as follows: 
  • They will be responsible for conducting scheduling age group tryouts and for the formation of teams with the assistance of the Tryout Coordinator.

·      They will be responsible for obtaining qualified coaches.  In the event of a conflict over a coaching position, they are responsible for obtaining the resumes and credentials of the coaches involved and forwarding them to the Coaches Selection Arbitration Committee.

·      They will serve as a non-voting member on the Coaches Selection Arbitration Committee.

Candidate Slate

Age Level Director Offices are elected each year for a one year term.  A subset of the Officers and the Administrators are elected in alternate years for two year terms.

  Volunteer Needed No one has volunteered for the office - in the case of an ALD position - it means that the office is vacant or the ALD has indicated that they will not run
